Recently Joe Zeff from Joe Zeff Design showed us a great new process for creating Holotwins using a product from Adobe called Express. This super easy process is getting some great results from our initial tests and make creating content for our Holotwin solution even easier than before.
Adobe Express recently made available a feature that removes the background from any video file, which has the potential to make augmented reality even more accessible.
Here is a basic walkthrough created by Joe that shows just how easy this process is.
First, He asked someone to shoot a quick video of him using his iPhone, and he uploaded the video to Adobe Express. The background was busy, and we paid no attention to lighting or sound.
Then, he simply hit the button to remove the background.
The results were nearly instantaneous.
He then changed the background color to green by clicking a button, downloaded the file to "my computer", and uploaded it to the RealityBLU platform.

Is the quality as good as a professional shoot with dialed-in lighting and audio? No. But it could be with some effort!
